Indian Hills has changed! It has changed its bell schedule, expectations, and location. Please take a moment to review all of the information below. The changes you will find are designed to provide students with more options, opportunities, and responsibilities. Please know that at IHHS we care about students. Our goal is to see them graduate and be successful and productive people after high school.
Change of Bell Schedule
A new and enhanced bell schedule has been developed that will allow students a greater opportunity to recover credits and gain additional ones toward graduation. Also, this may allow some students to participate in electives offered on the Agoura High School campus. Student selection will be based on a case-by-case basis. (Please see the enclosed Bell Schedule for Indian Hills High School.)
Expectations
Students at Indian Hills High School have a very special opportunity to excel in an environment that is nurturing and small. However, attendance and behavior are critical factors for them to do well. Students cannot learn or earn credits if they don’t attend on a regular basis. All Indian Hills students must be at school everyday and be on time. The administration is dedicated to making sure that students regularly attend school. Anytime a student is not at school, a call will be made home. If there is no legitimate reason for the absence, the Lost Hills Sheriff Station will be notified and a ticket for truancy will be requested. Parents are expected to fully cooperate with the school in getting their child to attend on a regular basis.
Behavior is also a critical part of being successful. Enclosed you will find basic rules and expectations for all students.
Change of Location
Indian Hills High School is now located on its own campus at Agoura High School. The road just inside of the student parking area going to the stadium has been improved and will lead to the entrance of the new Indian Hills High School campus. This will be the only entrance to the school for students who are walking, being dropped off, or driving. Students who drive will be given a permit to park next to the campus. There is no parking on or in the Agoura High School campus.
